Quickstart

This is the fast path: create a site, add one small snippet, and watch your first visit appear — about two minutes start to finish. Want more detail on any step? The articles that follow cover them one at a time.

1. Create a site

In your dashboard, choose Add site and enter the domain you want to measure (for example yourdomain.com). Wazlytics generates a tracking snippet that’s unique to that site.

2. Add the tracking snippet

Copy your snippet from the Install step and paste it into the <head> of every page you want to measure. Your snippet has its own script URL — it looks like this:

<!-- Privacy-friendly analytics by Wazlytics -->
<script async src="https://wazlytics.com/js/wa-XXXXXXXX.js"></script>
<script>
  window.wazlytics = window.wazlytics || function(){(wazlytics.q = wazlytics.q || []).push(arguments)};
  wazlytics.init = wazlytics.init || function(o){ wazlytics.o = o || {} };
  wazlytics.init()
</script>

Tip

On WordPress? Skip the manual edit. Install the Wazlytics plugin, then paste the plugin token and domain from Settings → Integration into it — the plugin adds the snippet for you.

3. Verify your first visit

Open your site in a new tab, then return to the dashboard and check the Realtime view — your visit should appear within a few seconds. While setting up a new site, you can also use the Verify step, which checks that the snippet is live for you.

Note

Wazlytics automatically filters known bots and crawlers, so your numbers reflect real visitors.
