Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 30, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Wazlytics (“Wazlytics”, “we”, “us”) handles personal data. Wazlytics is a web analytics service operated by Infinisoft Solutions. If you have any questions about this policy, email us at hello@wazlytics.com.
Our privacy-first approach
Wazlytics was built to measure website traffic without tracking people. We do not use cookies, we do not collect personally identifiable information through our tracking script, we do not track visitors across websites or over time, and we never sell data or share it with advertising networks. All data is hosted in the European Union.
Information we collect
Account information
When you create a Wazlytics account, we store the information you provide — your name, email address, and a securely hashed password. Billing and payment are handled by our payment provider, Polar (see Sub-processors below); we do not store your full card details on our servers.
Analytics data we process for our customers
When you install the Wazlytics script on your website, we process measurement data about the visits to that site so we can show you aggregated statistics. This is cookieless and contains no names, emails, or other directly identifying information. A typical event includes:
- The page URL and the referring URL
- UTM campaign parameters, where present
- Browser, operating system, and device type (derived from the User-Agent string)
- Approximate location — country, region, and city — derived from the IP address
- Screen size and preferred language
We do not store IP addresses. An IP address is used transiently, in memory, only to look up an approximate location and to generate a daily visitor identifier. That identifier is a one-way hash of the IP address, the User-Agent, the website domain, and a secret salt that rotates every day. The hash cannot be reversed to recover the IP address, and because the salt changes daily it cannot be used to follow a visitor from one day to the next or across different websites.
How we use information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Wazlytics service
- To produce the aggregated analytics dashboards and reports you ask us for
- To manage your account, subscription, and billing
- To send service-related communications, such as trial reminders and security notices
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and spam traffic
Controller and processor roles
For the analytics data collected from your website’s visitors, you (our customer) are the data controller and Wazlytics acts as your data processor — we only process that data to provide the service to you. For your own account information, Infinisoft Solutions is the data controller. As a customer, you are responsible for having a lawful basis to measure your visitors and for telling them about it in your own privacy notice where required.
Sub-processors
We rely on a small number of trusted providers to operate the service:
- Polar — payment processing and subscription billing (acts as our Merchant of Record)
- EU cloud hosting provider — the infrastructure that runs Wazlytics and stores your data, located in the European Union
- ZeptoMail — delivery of transactional and account emails
- MaxMind GeoLite2 — an offline database used for IP-to-location lookups; no visitor data is sent to MaxMind. This product includes GeoLite2 data created by MaxMind, available from maxmind.com.
Where your data is stored
All Wazlytics data is stored and processed on servers located in the European Union and is subject to the protections of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Data retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Analytics data is retained so you can analyse historical trends, and is deleted when you delete the corresponding site or close your account. You can also reset or purge a site’s statistics at any time from your dashboard.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit using TLS, passwords are stored using strong one-way hashing, and access to production systems is restricted. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work hard to protect your data and to keep our systems up to date.
Your rights under GDPR
If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK, you have the right to access, correct, export, restrict the processing of, or delete your personal data, and to object to processing or withdraw consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@wazlytics.com and we will respond within the timeframes required by law. If your request concerns analytics data for a particular website, please contact the operator of that website, who is the controller of that data.
Cookies
The Wazlytics tracking script is completely cookieless and sets no cookies on your visitors. The Wazlytics dashboard itself uses a single strictly-necessary cookie to keep you signed in; this is not used for tracking or advertising.
Children
Wazlytics is a business tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 16.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
